An exciting project at the Canòdrom and a Berlin novelty from the rope factory: the Berliner Masche. This innovative new…

With its breathtaking surroundings of state-of-the-art skyscrapers and rocky escarpments, the brand-new park and residential estate "Parque La Mexicana" covers an area of 280,000 square meters.
The large-scale landscaping project has, in no time at all, managed to heal the "wounds" caused during the many years of exploitation of natural resources. There are three playgrounds on different sites in which equipment supplied by Berliner Seilfabrik is installed, catering to the play and climbing needs of children and young people.
Sinuous as a snake, the "Twist" coils through the park. The grey-coloured tubing harmonises with the surrounding, stony background while the red cables provide a colour contrast.
In the centre of the largest play area in the park is a "Pentagode", a central mast climbing structure. Here, children can climb up to heights of over 7 metres through the spatial net that is tensioned by a five-way tensioning system.
Close to the Pentagode is a low-level rope course made from various coupled bridge elements that passes over a modelled hilly Landscape. The Terranos net landscapes can be individually adapted so that naturalistic play elements can be created not being constrained by a specific terrain profile.
A double net swing and a "Bam" rope play house from the company's "Greenville" range is the most dominant feature of the third play area.
In addition to its spatial net, which invites users to climb and play hide-and-seek, the play house is particularly characterised by its natural design with the façade elements formed from bamboo panels.
