Kaheyo: A new generation of organic play structures

With Kaheyo, we are presenting our most extraordinary product innovation to date. The new product line combines organic design, technical innovation and versatile play options to create play structures that look as though they have grown between the ground and the sky.

“Kaheyo is unlike anything we have developed before,” explains David Köhler, the Managing Owner. “The product line combines our many years of experience in the manufacture of rope play equipment with a completely new design language and innovative structural solutions.”

What makes Kaheyo special?

Curved Net Landscapes using the Berliner Mesh

The focus is on the newly developed Berliner Mesh concept. A specially designed, more flexible rope creates undulating net landscapes with gentle peaks and troughs. These not only provide an exceptional playing experience, but also ensure consistently high net tension and the proven stability of the structure.

Innovative Connection Technology for organic Shapes

Kaheyo’s variety of post diameters gives the structure its natural dynamism. For the first time, this includes a post measuring 219 millimetres in diameter. The Charlotte Connector 2.0 absorbs the high forces generated by the net structure, whilst the ropes continue to run inside the posts. A newly developed egg-shaped clamp with three connection points allows for variable rope angles.

Can be combined in many different Ways

Kaheyo is available in three sizes and can be combined both within the product line and with other product groups. Additional features such as climbing ropes, hammocks and nest swings create versatile play areas for climbing, balancing, exploring and relaxing.

Kaheyo is making its debut this year at GaLaBau in Nuremberg. The product line will then be presented at the ASLA Conference on Landscape Architecture and the NRPA Annual Conference in the USA.
